Through our Karavil Cement Inc. and Ceylan Karavil Park Shopping Mall Solar Power Plant (GES) projects, we are maximizing the use of solar energy, increasing environmental sustainability, and improving energy efficiency. By establishing Solar Power Plants (GES) both at our manufacturing facilities and commercial areas, we not only meet our energy needs but also contribute to a cleaner world by conserving natural resources and reducing carbon emissions.

Our production facility has a high-efficiency solar energy system designed to meet the energy needs of the factory, with a capacity of 6375.6 kWp. This system is efficiently utilized to meet our manufacturing facility’s energy needs. This project contributes to our environmental sustainability goals while also reducing our energy costs. Additionally, our shopping mall is powered by a 2150.0 kWp Solar Power Plant, which we have established to increase energy efficiency. This solar energy is effectively used throughout the shopping mall’s operations. With this project, environmental impacts are minimized, and a sustainable energy solution is provided for our commercial space.

Both of our projects combined have a total installed capacity of 8,525.6 kWp, and the electricity generated from solar energy prevents the release of approximately 12,500 tons of CO₂ emissions. This is equivalent to the amount of carbon dioxide absorbed by around 5,000 mature trees in one year. Moreover, the use of solar energy reduces dependence on fossil fuels and contributes to the conservation of natural resources.

The environmental benefits of solar energy are not limited to the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions. These projects also help eliminate other environmental impacts such as air pollution, soil, and water contamination.
